Gorgeous pair of vintage Archimede Seguso (1909-1999) Murano art glass sculptures in green, red, and clear with gold flecks (circa 1960’s). The figures are wearing vibrant and beautifully detailed folk costumes, and each carrying a basket of tomatoes.
Woman: Weight: 2lb 9.oz / Height 10 ¾”, Width 5 ¼”, Depth 4 ½”
Man: Weight: 2lb 7oz / Height 11", Width 5 ¼”, Depth 4 ½
Condition: Both figures have beautiful, vibrant color with lots of gold fleck. The pieces do not have their original stickers. I have priced accordingly, and kept the pair together, but please review the photos carefully. Feel free to message me if you’re interested in purchasing one piece only.
**Female Figure**: The back of the clear base has a significant repair which can be seen and felt (however the figure is stable). There is also a very small rough area at the wrist – otherwise the rest of the figure is in excellent condition.
Male Figure: excellent (near pristine) vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks and only minimal signs of use or wear.
