A 2005 art glass vase by the American glass artist Stephan Cox (born 1956). This whimsical work features a bright orange vase with bright yellow ball accent below that stands on a green base with three feet. The underside of the work is signed and dated.
Originally studying painting at the University of Minnesota, Cox went on to study printmaking and then glass at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He has working primarily in glass since 1979. His works are held in the collections of the the Corning Museum of Glass, The Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile, Alabama, SAS Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina, among others.
