It is a splendid example rendered from elegant English oak.

The top buffet sideboard includes two drawers featuring decoratively carved sea monster griffin motifs. The second tier incorporates three cabinets, each with stylized shield crest drawers and side griffin corbels. The cabinet doors open to reveal unrestricted access to ample storage. Each door is fitted with a matching cast bronze key guard. The lower tier drawer includes a center grotesque mascaron mask and heavily carved handles. The sides are embellished with stylized Gothic Sea monster corbels. Finally, the buffet sideboard rests on zoomorphic lions’ claw feet which completes the look.
