A breathtakingly charming and large original folk painting that captures pure joy and innocence. Two little Ukrainian girls in traditional embroidered vyshyvankas share a tender moment – one seated among scattered roses, the other shyly offering a bouquet of daisies and lilies. The warm palette, soft light, and gentle expressions are pure naïve magic. There is light texture in the artist's technique not quite impasto.

Presented in its original magnificent heavy gold toned Baroque carved-wood frame with acanthus leaves and shell motifs – absolutely museum-quality presentation and ready to hang.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Canvas is clean, colors vibrant, no craquelure, no repairs, no in-painting. Frame has only minor age-appropriate rubbing – displays beautifully.
