"The Lobster Boats at Gloucester" Impressionistic Maritime Oil Painting
Vibrant and lively painting of moored lobster fishing boats by F. Pileria Sunnyvale, California artist. Two large boats, one in bright green and one in blue, are the main focal point of this piece. Around them seagulls swoop low over the water and fisherman can be seen working on the boats. A red boat house sits in the background, providing contrast to the ships. Details such as the sails and pilons are rendered in thick, impasto brushstrokes, and feature a variety of different hue and color variations.
