This antique Limoges porcelain inkwell dates to the early-to-mid 20th century and features beautifully hand-painted roses in pink and yellow … Read more This antique Limoges porcelain inkwell dates to the early-to-mid 20th century and features beautifully hand-painted roses in pink and yellow with sprays of blue flowers surrounded by a deeper pink and gold border on both long sides, with smaller hand painted floral details on the shorter sides and the top of the domed cover. Textured silver-toned metal (most likely pewter but there is no mark on the metal) banding surrounds the base. The bottom of the inkwell is marked "Limoges France", as is the inner ink holder. This piece would beautifully grace the desk of anyone who enjoys writing with antiques or who simply appreciates these types of feminine items from a bygone era. Measures 2-1/2 inches wide by 1-3/4 inches deep by 1-3/4 inches tall with the cover on. Excellent condition. See less
