The surface is a landscape of history—you can see the ripples and indentations from the metalsmith's hammer and the rich, variegated patina that has developed over a century of use. It features a warm, fiery tones of the oxidized copper to take center stage. It is heavy, thick-walled (2 inches deep), and has a simple crimped rim that feels sturdy and utilitarian.
