Double Paris Using a film camera is always a gamble. We think we know what we got, but in the end it’s often something else, sometimes better, sometimes a flop. Doing superimpositions raises the uncertainty rate by several notches because we don’t know how the two images will get along on the film. At the start there is the idea of playing with instant memory to mix two prints, two graphics in black and white belonging to the same place. As if we were trying to bring to life a photo fiction snapshot that our imagination had created from scratch.
