This is a cool mirror done in the French Empire style with a hot air balloon crest. It features a gold frame with a distressed finish, The gold has a touch of orange making it a pale orange gold color. It has a 3-dimensional hot air balloon crest and other floral carvings. There are Greek keys at the bottom. This is a reproduction of a wood mirror from Italy that was wood. This is composition. They look nearly identical. I thought this mirror would look pretty in a variety of colors so you could paint it if you wish. The mirror is intact with no missing or broken pieces. There is some finish loss at the top. Beautiful for French decor.
