This striking mid-century Strehla Keramik vase was produced in East Germany during the 1950s–60s and showcases the studio’s iconic combination of sculptural form and textured decorative elements. The vase features a tall cylindrical neck, a looped handle, and a rounded base finished with raised geometric detailing.
A warm mustard yellow matte glaze covers the body, contrasted beautifully by the deep cobalt blue interior and dark rim. The textured band around the belly adds dimension and exemplifies Strehla’s signature style.
