This is a beautiful original mixed media on paper painting my listed American artist William Hoey. The piece is a wonderfully rendered abstract moody southwest landscape, realized in watercolor and pastel. It is signed in pencil and framed behind glass.
William Hoey was primarily a Texas-based painter known for his atmospheric 'magical realist' landscape renderings of the lands around his South Texas home.
