This is a vintage Chinese export ceramic table lamp featuring a hand-painted Chinoiserie landscape scene with pagoda architecture, trees, and rolling terrain. The ceramic body is paired with its original coordinating lampshade, which is also hand painted to match the imagery of the lamp base.
The lampshade is constructed of painted plastic and lined with a very thin white fabric, allowing light to glow softly through the artwork. The shade design includes a pierced longevity symbol detail on the front panel, adding a distinctive decorative element. Both the lamp body and shade display cohesive artistry, making this a striking and complete vintage lighting set.
The lamp has been newly rewired, tested, and powers on properly. This piece works beautifully as a statement lamp in traditional, Chinoiserie, grandmillennial, or collected interiors.
