Around the sides, the piece displays an elegant hand-engraved Chinese landscape along with a classical four-line poem that evokes serene imagery of rivers, moonlight, and spring lakes.

The inscription reads: “映门淮水绿 / 留骑主人心 / 明月随良驷 / 春湖夜夜深,” which translates to: “Before the gate, the Huai River glimmers green; a host’s affection urges the guest to stay; the bright moon follows the fine horse; and the spring lake lies deep night after night.” The seal’s base is carved with the auspicious phrase “招财进宝” (Zhāo cái jìn bǎo) meaning “Attract Wealth and Bring Treasures,” a traditional blessing often associated with prosperity and good fortune.

Measuring 4.75 inches high and 1.75 inches wide/deep and weighing 13 ounces, this piece blends spiritual symbolism, classic Chinese artistry, and warm, natural stone texture.
