Black satin phenolic resin body (highly durable and resistant to alcohol, boiling water, and cigarette burns) with a whimsical, hand‑inlaid composition of woods and metals depicting an open book, a pitcher and assorted herbs & spices. The hand‑inlay technique gives each piece unique texture and warmth — a classic example of California modern craftsmanship.

Condition
Very Good — preloved with light, age‑appropriate surface wear including a few minor scratches and small stains consistent with normal use. Original Couroc of Monterey sticker intact on the back; maker’s name stamped in the bottom right corner on the reverse.
