The legs are straight and free … Read more This tripod is in very good overall physical and cosmetic condition for its age. The legs are straight and free of any cracks, bending, or age related deterioration, and the metal parts are in nice shape with very little corrosion to be found. Top to bottom conditions: The head at the top is good. There is no rust, and it is virtually free of wear. The "hinges" and wing nuts below it show a little wear to the paint, but function as they should and are fine overall. The legs, aside from a chipped area on the upper portion of one, are in nice condition with little wear present, and all three look nice. The leather strap that once secured the tripod when it was folded up is no longer in existence, and the feet are in good shape with no issues to report.
