The sampler then continues "Let chastity be your white, modesty your vermillion, dress your eyebrows with cheerfulness...". The text of the sampler is bordered by red and gold leaves/buds creating a distinctive border. The linen is fraying in some parts of the image, making parts of the text difficult to read. The image is custom framed with conservation glass. Sight 16 7/8" high x 14 3/4" wide. Overall 25 7/8" high x 24 1/8" wide. See less
