1950s Chinese Coromandel Lacquer Screen Divider Screen
Fantastic colors with prominent soft blues and gold wash on this black lacquered wood four-panel folding screen. The combination of blues, sand and pops of red and white are elegant on this screen.
The landscape includes figures at play and at leisure in traditional dress.
The reverse features a simple design of blue bamboo stalks and fronds against the stark black background - a lovely combination.
It stands on squared legs with brass feet.
In very good condition with light wear commensurate with age.
