A rare version of the a110 pendant lamp by louis poulsen, based on a design by alvar aalto from the early 1950s.
a minimalist design, this version of the "hand grenade" impresses with its simplicity. The perforated brass rim on the underside has been omitted. The lamp body consists of two cylinders of different sizes. The lower cylinder is open at both ends and serves as a reflector. Light is emitted both upwards and downwards. The upward light also illuminates the upper cylinder and casts a soft, indirect glow into the room. The design works well as a single piece, in a row, or in a cluster.
the lamps are in very good condition with signs of use and patina. This piece has an attribution mark,
