In 1970, Bruno Gecchelin designed the crescent lamp for Skipper & Pollux, which was produced in two versions: black and white. This lamp is the black version with a black marble base. The stem is chromed and telescopic. The dimmer switch is located on the side of the diffuser. The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The chrome plating is virtually intact, and the marble is undamaged. The diffuser shows very light signs of use and age. The lamp is in perfect working order. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
