This modernist desk was manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. It is finished in natural teak wood in a warm shade of brown, with visible grain detail. The piece features three spacious drawers on the left side, ideal for storing documents, office supplies, and other small accessories. On the right side, there's a large, deep drawer unit that can easily accommodate larger office items or electronics. An additional advantage is the two extendable worktops, one above each drawer column, allowing for quick expansion of the desk's usable space when needed. This practical feature is extremely rare in contemporary furniture. The back of the desk is particularly noteworthy, providing a strong, geometric accent. This due the desk a double-sided look. The back panels are slightly protruding, a design that combines modernist form with classic Art Deco style. The contrasting black frame around the drawer fronts and cabinet accentuates the geometry of the piece while also lending it an elegant, graphic character. Combined with the natural wood grain and subtle brass handles, it creates a cohesive, aesthetically pleasing whole. This timeless piece of furniture is distinguished by its elegant design, solid construction, and high-quality craftsmanship. The desk combines classic design with functionality, making it a perfect addition to many interiors.
The desk is in original vintage condition, with minor signs of age-related wear.
