This striking art glass plate is part of the 'Tree of Live' series designed by Swedish artist Olle Alberius (1926–1993) for the Orrefors glassworks. Crafted from clear glass with vibrant colored inclusions and engravings, the piece features sculptural detailing that gives it depth and visual movement. At its center is a stylized violet flower with a bright orange core, complemented by engraved leaf motifs that reflect the expressive character of mid-century art glass design. An engraved signature 'Orrefors Expo OA 611 - 77 Olle Alberius' is located along the rim, and the piece also retains its original Orrefors label, confirming its authenticity.

Olle Alberius (1926 - 1993) was a Swedish glass designer and ceramicist. He was among the Orrefors artists who perfected the Ariel glassblowing technique.
