This is a matched pair of antique gilt-bronze (Ormolu style) five-arm candelabra, measuring 15 ⅛ inches tall with a 6.25” × 6.25” footprint. Possibly French.
The design is executed in a refined Rococo/Empire-Revival style, featuring scrolling acanthus arms, classical foliate cartouches, and finely cast decorative elements throughout.
Each piece rests on a tripod base with ornate claw-and-scroll feet, rising into a fluted column and terminating in a decorative globe fitted with a blue accent ring — a detail typical of late 19th to early 20th century European gilt-metal craftsmanship. The tops support five candle sockets, all with matching embossed patterns.
The candelabra have developed a warm, even patina, appropriate to age, and present cleanly with no missing arms or major structural issues visible. They display extremely well and are suitable for collectors of 19th-century European decorative arts, classical interiors, or French-style garniture sets.
