Dating from the mid-20th century (circa 1950s–1980s), this piece was acquired from an estate in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, where it was found new in its original packaging and appears never to have been used.

The clean, architectural form and translucent glaze recall traditional Chinese celadon ware interpreted through a soft modern aqua tone — bridging Asian decorative tradition with mid-century design sensibility.
