The charming beautifully hand painted sculpted cherub is working his grinding wheel sharpening love arrows. The soft, though vivid, hand coloration accentuate his face & body. The grinding wheel & tree the same high quality definition as the cherub. Together, the ensemble is a wonderful example of "high quality" Meissen. The undersurface of the base is clearly marked with cobalt blue crossed swords under the glaze. An exceptional example of this model ! See less
