This early Meissen cabinet figure portrays a beautiful bountiful woman. The molded figurine is attired in period costume & is offering a taste of succulent fruit that she holds close to her breast. The vintage porcelain is hand painted, detailed with flowers & has gold accents. The body language is suggestive & provocative & is, I think, a rare example of the subtle erotica of the time. The undersurface of the base displays the old blue crossed swords mark under the glossy glaze.
