The design showcases elevated Eastern-inspired motifs including a dragonfly, folding fans, cherry blossoms, bamboo, and lotus flowers — all set within a textured and colorful panel layout. A sculptural faux bamboo handle and intricate Greek key border at the collar complete the artistic detailing.

The interior boasts the highly desirable lilac glaze, often associated with the period’s top majolica potteries. The exterior glaze displays the beautiful surface character and light craquelure expected from genuine 19th-century majolica.
