Retro 1968 Fleer Electric Poster "Sock It To Me" Blacklight Poster Rowen & Martin
Rare original 16.75″ x 11.75″ blacklight colorful poster entitled “Sock It To Me” released by the Fleer Corporation in 1968 as part of their Electric Posters series. The lower left corner bears the copyright mark. Fleer's Electric Posters are a classic example of true retro and trippy psychedelic art style of the late 1960s; an Era of peace love and music. This poster is highly sought after by collectors and fans of the era's art and culture.
The poster is based on the 1960’s, Iconic TV show “Rowen & Martin's Laugh In” which ruled the TV world, combining fast-paced one-liners, absurd sketches, and celebrity appearances. The show delivered the iconic catch-phrase “Sock It To Me” which was a recurring sketch. The "Sock it to me" girl was British actress Judy Carne.
