Rare French Pillivuyt Trompe L'oeil Porcelain Woodcock in a Crust Pâté Tureen made by Pillivuyt. Pillivuyt produced a variety of porcelain tureens inspired by the hunt and for serving game pies or pâté. This type tureen was originally designed and made for royalty and nobility in the eighteenth century.
This is a beautiful Pate´trompe l'oeil tureen, inspired by the season of the hunt. It's rare to find the woodcock, such a beauty that's sure to be the star of your French Country tureen collection!
