The rectangular shape footed box is beautifully decorated with period genre scenes. The box has a lustrous shine highlighting its repousse decorations. The interior of the box is meticulously lined with a stunning blue moire silk fabric that compliments it perfectly. The base is stamped with two punchmarks. One features a triangle with the letter M in its center. The other is a standing lion. The box shows wear on the bottom & the rim under the cover shows two metal gaps. A wonderful box for special keepsakes.
