This vintage late 19th century Japanese decorated pocket watch display stand is desigbned with elaborate carvings of a scrolling motif around a cushioned center with an extended resting lip. This decorative easel back & footed display stand is created during the MEIJII
period. The stand features a curved brass hook, suitable to hold & display a pocket watch or small hanging portrait. There are two age hairlines found on the back of the stand. Other than these, the stand is in very good condition.
