This early - mid 19th century English (London) silver castor with crystal bottles (missing stoppers) is designed with a decorative footed base. The shapely base supports four crystal bottles (all with chips) held within individual holders attached to a sturdy stem handle. The base bears early hallmarks dating from the 1830's. There are additional hallmarks seen on the handle, perhaps, identifying the maker (? Charles Fox). Two of the bottles have small chips at the top rim & two have larger chips at the base. Underneath the base, you can see that one of the wing nuts has been replaced.
