It's just gorgeous wheather displayed on its own, used to fll a space, or used to hold collections. Since it is and-made and probably from the early 20th century, there is some expected wear but it is still strong and sturdy. As photographed, there are some dark spots, a few scuffs on the handle, broken twigs that hold reeds around the rim in place, and what looks like and old repair where the handle and body are joined.
