Expressive armchair, Germany 1925, in Makassar ebony, attributed to Bruno Paul.
Sides and back with double Viennese caning. The base for the seat cushion is made of single Viennese caning. The new upholstery is an exact replica of the original upholstery with feathers and horsehair.
An elegant, beautiful armchair of exceptional craftsmanship and material quality.
The gracefully curved armrests contrast with the otherwise harmonious, rectilinear structure of the armchair. Covered in the warm hue of the wood and Viennese caning made of rattan. An outstanding armchair of its time.
