This pair of vintage wood nesting kitchen canisters is a blast from the past, and has clearly been put to good use over the years!
Lids are included, and the fronts feature metal MCM starbursts! Made in the mid-1940s through the 1960s. Stack them or nest them! Use them in the kitchen, the entryway, the bathroom- the sky is the limit!
Hand-carved in Japan from hardwood, per the stickers.
The larger canister measures approximately 5 3/8" wide, 4.75" deep, and 5.5" tall. The smaller one is approximately 4 3/8" wide, 4" deep, and 4 5/8" tall.
One of these has some tape residue on one side (pictured). Both have overall wear- scrapes, scratches, scuffs, etc.
Selling because they smell fragranced to my sensitive sniffer (if you're sensitive as well).
From a smoke-free environment.
