“Power Source"
Beyond the aerial landscape, the title speaks to the political heart of the nation. It is inspired by Diebenkorns layered color fields, and a balance between structure, abstracted landscape and architectural landmarks.
The painting hints at the concentration of influence and decision-making that radiates from the capital, yet its abstracted forms suggest that power is not confined to monuments and institutions alone. Instead, it moves through networks, communities, and the unseen channels that connect people.
Power Source becomes both a landscape and a metaphor—the idea that power is not only housed in the buildings below but is generated by the connections, pathways, and currents that bind people together. WE become the power.
