A 19th Century French Louis Philippe style pedestal cabinet made of solid cherry wood. This unusual cabinet was probably used in a church or museum to display a statue. It has a sturdy curved plinth top measuring 14.5" x 15" and a storage cabinet below with a small brass knob. Very good condition with nice proportions and waxed finish. Perfect for display of a sculpture or large vase or urn. Circa 1850-1870.
