This Really Is a Beautiful and Very Fine Quality Original Matching Pair of Vintage Sterling Silver Candlesticks. Circa Mid 1900s. They are Rendered in a Retro Art Deco Style with Excellent Detain in the Embossed Features. They are Signed on the Bottoms by the Well Documented ALVIN Silver Company ( Subsidiary of Gorham ) and Marked STERLING. The Base Also is Marked Cement Loaded Indicating that they are Weighted at the Base with a Solid Substance so as To Create Ballast When the Standard Size Candles are Inserted. The Set in in Excellent Condition and they Display Beautifully. They are Very Lightly Tarnished.
