This is a quarter sawn oak file cabinet with five drawers. One larger drawer and 4 smaller drawers. The drawers actually sit in the two level case and glide smoothly and you can pull them all the way out. There are no rails or dividers inside the drawers. The case is dovetail constructed. In very good condition overall. There are some small holes in a few of the drawer fronts where there may have been different label holders at one time. The back panel has some uneven slats, but the overall structure is strong and solid. The larger drawer has angled corners which looks like chips, but there are no chips.
Has the original patina with period use consistent with age.
