Vintage Turkish small hand-knotted rug from Taspinar, circa 1970, featuring warm terracotta and navy tones and authentic village craftsmanship — clean, ready to place, perfect for bedside spaces and interior entryways. Ships fast from Turkey with no extra import costs for U.S. buyers.
This compact Taşpınar village rug was hand-knotted in Central Anatolia around 1970, originally intended for use inside a rural household rather than for export. Its stepped central medallion, geometric floral details, and softened, time-faded surface embody the quiet character and honesty of true village weaving. All small rugs in this collection are true village-woven pieces - never produced for commercial resale and originally created for household use.
Sized perfectly for everyday living, this piece adds grounded warmth and gentle texture wherever you place it. The medium pile feels pleasant underfoot, while the narrow format slips easily in front of a doorway, along a kitchen counter, or beside the bed. Perfect for use as a bedside accent, kitchen sink mat, or entryway layer.
