Handsome pair of Swedish Mid-Century Modern teak side tables attributed to manufacturer Göte Möbler Nässjö. Dating from circa 1960, these tables are an excellent example of Scandinavian modern design and quality craftsmanship.
Fine construction features solid teak with some substantial veneer. The tabletops presents a distinctive, sculpted edge or lip, which is a signature detail of this era. The design is supported by four rounded and tapered legs. These sturdy pieces are versatile, perfect for use as an end tables, side tables, nightstands, lamp tables or drink tables. In remarkably great condition for their age, these tables display barely any wear despite their age.
Göte Möbler, based in Nässjö, Sweden, was a notable producer of Scandinavian Modern furniture throughout the mid-20th century.
