The vessel displays traditional Middle Eastern metalworking techniques in which brass sheets were hammered, shaped, and embellished with engraved foliate and geometric motifs.

The figural handle incorporates zoomorphic elements and is cast separately before being fitted to the jug’s body, a method consistent with regional metalwork from the late Ottoman sphere.
