Here we have a gorgeous vintage French Louis XVI style sofa or three person settee. I don't know the exact age, but this sofa has been refurbished a few times over the decades. It is structurally sound, solid and sturdy. The current fabric is a pale blue printed moire stripe by Pindler & Pindler.
PLEASE NOTE: there is a spot on one side of the back. This area is in need of a professional cleaning, but I'm unsure if it will clean up satisfactorily. As such, the sofa is being sold AS-IS. In addition, the cushion and arms have a few very faint tiny spots as would be expected with age and use. Nothing terrible, they're hard to find and barely noticeable and mostly affecting only ONE side of the cushion. The other side is pristine and the cushion is reversible.
Heavily carved wood frame with many wonderful details and a partially stripped & sealed finish. The bench cushion is stuffed with a genuine down/feather blend insert (no foam) and the cover closes with a metal zipper. Overall measurements are 81.5 inches long by 30 inches deep (front to back) and 36 inches tall to the tip of the carved rose on the back. Seat height is approximately 18 inches and seat depth is 21 inches. A very stylish addition to nearly any room... thanks for looking!!!
