The workmanship highlights the contrast between the white glass belly (lattimo) and the dark translucent back (gray/black), typical of the "sommerso" technique. The fins are hot-applied in clear crystal. The sculpture rests on a solid clear glass base that simulates a sea wave, enriched with air bubbles (bullicante technique).
