A pair of carved and gilded wood freestanding mirrors. The frame is richly carved with laurel leaves, and the cymatium features a central shell, scrolls, and floral motifs. One mirror is mercury-glass, the other has been replaced. Italy, mid-19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
