Santa features a hand-painted composition head, wool beard, red felt coat and hood, and the traditional pinecone body unique to the region’s holiday crafts. He sits leaning forward on a carved wooden sled, pulling a grey wool sack filled with miniature hand-painted wooden toy train pieces—a delightful detail prized by collectors. Measures approximately 4” long, 3” tall, and 1.25 deep. Condition is very good for its age with gentle wear appropriate to mid-century handcrafted materials.
