It is very … Read more This is a classic large antique bow front chest of drawers which dates to the Victorian era.

It is very solid, heavy and well made from mahogany and mixed woods and is a substantial piece which will make a handsome addition to any room.

The chest is fitted with five spacious drawers which have clean interiors and attractive turned handles. The chest is set on turned feet and the moulded top and corners are gently curved.

We have hand painted this piece in a striking green eggshell paint which is comparable in colour to Little Greene's 'Hopper', before lightly distressing the paintwork and then protecting the finish with wax.
It really is a striking statement piece!

CONDITION

The chest is in solid structural condition with various minor cosmetic marks of age and use.
The top has some dents and marks below the painted finish.
