Since Leighton-Jones 1932 - 2011, was 're-discovered' around 2002, coinciding with his return to England after living and working in the U.S.A. for 30 years, there has been significant interest in collecting certain of his prints and paintings.


These types of image were often inspired and modelled by the children of the artist and became known as the Leighton-Jones Urchins. This style of imagery was also inspired by the artist's love of Charles Dickens novels centered around Victorian London. Whilst the children often looked sad there was also a subtle indication of strength and their ability to survive.

Limited Edition Fine Art Lithographic Number 240 out of an edition of only 375 that makes it quite valuable. It's taken from an original Leighton-Jones painting, the original painting is in a private collection and is titled 'Let's make peace'.
