The designer fabric’s artwork showcases bold, undulating zig-zags in blues, greens, and citron—graphic, modern, and full of movement—set against a rich gold frame that adds a luxe, polished finish.

The mat board is painted in a soft grey-blue with a crisp cobalt border, intentionally designed to echo the textile’s jagged rhythm and highlight its color story. The contrast between the metallic gold frame, the punchy Schumacher pattern, and the hand-finished mat gives the piece a curated, designer-collected feel.

This piece is sustainably made. The frame and mat are sourced secondhand, refinished, repainted, and rebuilt by hand, and the backing is made from repurposed materials such as clean, unused cardboard from shipping boxes.
