A charming and rare set of three vintage ceramic fish plates from the Villeroy & Boch "Neptuno" series, produced by Gallo Design in West Germany during the 1970s. These highly collectible pieces feature a unique, embossed design in the shape of a flatfish (likely a turbot), complete with detailed scales, gills, and tail. The plates are finished in a warm, glossy caramel-brown glaze with darker brown details, a classic color palette of the era.
Perfect for serving appetizers, salads, or fish courses, or simply for display as coastal or mid-century modern decor. This series is part of the versatile "Gallo Series" or "Provence" collection. The items are marked with the Gallo logo and "Neptuno" on the base.
