The frames are constructed from … Read more A set of three barely-used Chatwin counter chairs by Richard Wrightman, all with original tags. The frames are constructed from solid white oak, adorned with textured dark chocolate leather for the seats and backs.

The seatbacks have a tilt mechanism, similar to Arne Vodder’s “Ella” chair, that allows the back to conform to your body as you sink into the chair. The exposed leather straps and slight protrusion of the stretcher bars evoke the iconic Danish Modern safari chair designs of Kaare Klint and Arne Norrell.

Taller and wider than most counter stools, Chatwin’s scale allows you to fill a space without making it look crowded.

These chairs are in near new condition, with very fine contact marks on the leather visible only on close inspection. See less
